I love how you're not scared to try crazy things with your icons! Lovelovelove it. Also, your black and white stuff is some of the best I've ever seen. Especially that b&w Basch icon you have posted right there.

I think that your strongest point is your text though. You're really good at placement and variety with text. :3

Sometimes your coloring is a bit off, imo. I think it has to do with textures. Like in the Auron icon. I think it would've looked better if it was completely b&w.

*hides in a hole* I don't like critiquing. Can you tell? XD

Thank you! I like working with b&w; I need to do it more often. I'm really glad to read what you wrote about text, since I think that's my weakest point.

I have a hard time with coloring - I really, really suck at it. Some of that is my monitor, some of it is my eyes, but most of it is my complete lack of skill. D: But it's good to know it's not just me who thinks that, and I can work to improve.

I really love how you try new things, you are extremely creative. A lot of your texture use is daring and I think it pays off. I love your crops! I love how you can make a crop look interesting without making the subject matter unclear.
The only critique I can really give is sometimes your icons lack contrast (or they appear to on my monitor and it could be a personal preference thing!). Like icon #3 I think Basch could have just a tiny bit more contrast, just to make him stand out more.
You have obvious talent with manips! They always look flawless. :D ♥

PLUS your text placement is always A++.

Thanks for the kind words! I always feel so derivative, so it's nice to know people think I'm actually creative. LOL @ crops - I hate those icons where it's somebody's ear or eyebrow! I'm iconning Basch so often, it's really that I can't bear to cut off any part of his handsome face. XD

I run my laptop to a desktop monitor usually, but I see what you mean about the contrast when I look at things on my actually laptop screen. I'll keep that in mind; thank you.

I learned all I know about photo manips from rusalkatrix and all I know about text placement from you, bb!
